ASSA – The White-tailed Sea Eagle Fund

ASSA – The White-tailed Sea Eagle Fund, is a project within Audlind Nature Fund, with the goal of protecting the endangered Icelandic White-tailed Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) and its habitat. ASSA will also work towards an improved land use and inspire respect for the wild nature of Iceland.
ASSA will award owners/occupants of lands where the white-tailed Sea Eagle nests and its young become fledged. These prizes serve as an encouragement and recognition of a felicitous cohabitation of man and nature. ASSA may also provide support to those who have demonstrably suffered economic loss from the breeding and behavior of the White-tailed Sea Eagle.
To attain its goals, ASSA may support educational projects which emphasize the vital role of raptors in a healthy natural environment.
